LeAnn Scrimmager, also known as Lee, is an executive producer, development executive, and screenwriter based in New York City. She graduated from Temple University with a degree in media business and entrepreneurship. She began her career as a coordinator at Tony Bennett’s management company, assisting on multiple noteworthy projects. Over the years, she has continued working at various production offices, entertainment houses, and studios in New York City, Los Angeles, and London. 

Currently, she serves as the manager of development and production for WEtv/ALLBLK, where she develops IP with creative partners and executive produces television shows and feature films. While spearheading network development, she supports AMC’s “future of film” task force, supporting emerging directors secure distribution on AMC+. She has worked on shows such as “Wiggin Out with Tokyo Stylez,” nominated for Outstanding Reality Program at the 36th GLAAD Media Awards in 2025, and on Deb’s House, which won a Telly Award in the Television Game Show & Competition category. 

Currently, in the unscripted landscape, she is developing a true-crime docuseries with AMC Studios. For narrative, her debut short film “BellaDonna” was nominated for Best Experimental Film at the North Film Festival in 2025. She recently wrapped up executive producing a feature rom-com for ALLBLK. She is now developing her action-drama screenplay, “Love Child,” and preparing to direct a black comedy short film, “Object of My Desire”. 

LeAnn's creative vision is driven by a strong desire to create authentic content that challenges conventional thinking across different genres. Her interests span the scripted and unscripted worlds, where she strives to bring unique, thought-provoking stories to life. As an Awo Ifá and Olòrìsà, she aspires to create work inspired by her beliefs and practices.
